Dental hygiene

To keep our teeth and gums healthy is of utmost importance.
Even between two toothbrushings, bacteria of the normal residential oral flora colonize the dental surfaces. If it persists for a longer period of time, the uninterrupted bacterial accumulation (plaque) may lead to the development of caries, gingivitis, and in the most severe cases even periodontitis. Moreover, our oral hygiene has a strong impact on our general health. An untreated gingivitis breaches the barrier of the organism. The toxins which get to the bloodstream through the injury weaken the immune system, and increase the risk of the development of cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and even miscarriages. This is why it is so important to remove the plaques completely from your teeth.

Ideally plaques should be removed efficiently without injuring your teeth and gums.

  1. Curaprox CS 5460 ultra soft fogkefékThe visible surfaces of your teeth (buccal, lingual and occlusal) can be cleared with a toothbrush. During brushing, special attention has to be paid to the gumline, because this small crevice, where the teeth and gum meet, represents a perfect hiding area for bacteria. This region can be cleaned most efficiently if you guide the brush into the gingival sulcus keeping the brush in 45° angle. Then you should remove the plaque gently with small circular movements.
In order to prevent injuries to the gums and the tooth neck with the above technique, you should choose the Swiss made CURAPROX CS 5460 ultra soft toothbrush. It contains ten times more soft bristles, and with one movement, it can remove more plaques without injury.

  2. Tökéletes szájápolás2.
